Governor Kaine Signs Smoking Ban

March 10th, 2009 No comments

kaineVirginia Governor Tim Kaine added to his list of blunders as governor by signing a ban on smoking.  If you’re not from the south, you don’t understand the gravity of the situation so I’ll clarify.  A governor in a tobacco producing state, who’s state capital is home to big tobacco, signs a bill banning smoking.  This is another example of Democrats believing they know whats best for us more than we do and circumventing our rights.  I don’t smoke, but I’ll be sure to go to a local bar when the law becomes active and light up a cigar and let it burn.  To be fair, the ban doesn’t really ban smoking outright, but rather bans it in restaurants, bars, bowling alleys and clubs, unless restricted to a closed off area with seperate ventillation.  Mrs. Governor smiled as he signed the bill.  I guess he thinks restaurants and bowling alley’s can afford to build plexiglass enclosures, but really…when you are waiting for your turn to bowl, will you really be able to step into the cubicle, sip on your drink and take a drag.  Silly governor.

Stock Market Tanks as President Spends More Money We Don’t Have

March 5th, 2009 No comments

stockfailThe people with money are speaking and for them, socialism just doesn’t cut it.  Has anyone noticed how much farther the stock market has fallen since the election.  I think this is  a sign that people with money  are balking at the president with his “Robin Hood” principles where he robs the rich to give to the hood.  I can’t blame them.  My principles won’t let me get angry at anyone for having money because I know that they either (A) worked hard to get it, (B) inherited it from someone who worked hard to get it, or (C) were extremely lucky to get it.  In either way, I don’t get angry or jealous for anyone for having or wasting money.  I just get angry at myself for not having found a way to earn my personal fortune by now.

As Long as Leading the Country is About Preaching to his Supporters, Obama is the Guy

Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal voices concern over the fundamental flaws in obama's beliefs.

Watching yet another pro-Obama campaign rally, oh wait, he’s won and he’s still holding campaign rallies.  Note to fundamentally backwards president.  You won the election.  Time to stop bull****ing us and start learning how to lead.  I see where you’re coming from with the frequently saying “my first term”, but to steal one of your favorite phrases…Lets be clear.  We don’t want you.  Your election was a perfect storm of 2 years of poor Congressional leadership by democrats, combined with 4 years of declining media opinion of the president.  60 million people effectively chose you because you preach well and the economy happens to have fallen off at the right time.  You have two years before Republicans take control of Congress because face it, Americans elect Congress to oppose the president.  There will be no second term.   We will use your presidency to remind us how democratic principles oppose the foundation of the American Dream.  Read more…

Obama – Off to a Good Start

Follow me, or feel my wrath!!!

One of my hopes, in keeping with Obama’s theme of hope, is that the Republicans take over during the mid term elections.  In order for this CHANGE to occur, we will need Obama’s astronomical approval rating to approach more human levels, and for him to have generally NOT lived up to the hype.  So far, so good, but we can only hope the trend continues.  Obama reminds me of every black supervisor I have ever had at a job.  He’s a bad leader and he makes up for his shortfalls by saying what’s popular and finding a scapegoat.  He does one thing and says another, and then he goes back to the other side.  I guess this is not quite how you expected this article to read, so Democrats, if you haven’t already, you can stop reading now.  Read more…

It’s Time To Concentrate On An American Future, And Not A Black History.

February 1st, 2009 2 comments

nbra100mk1It’s that time of year again.  The time where black churches and communities all over America are still missing the point.  I’m talking about black history month.  That time of the year where we tell America that we still aren’t over the past and we want to get you to hear about it too.
