A disturbing trend with the coronation of the anti…I mean of Obama has been that everyone appeared to be buying what he was selling. There was no worse feeling than the election night moment where our supposed champion told us basically, to forget about our ideals and beliefs and support Obama without question. I understand that this is a bad economy, but this is where the hard working and ambitioned people get ahead and take advantage of low prices. The economy will go bad and it will come back. What the Democrats are selling is a political TKO. They want us to give up our beliefs and support them, with obviously the belief that we will “Change” our beliefs to meet theirs in the name of Hussein. But I’m getting way, way ahead of myself. I ask myself all the time now, what is the main thing that separates us blacks from Americans. I have come to the following realizations, thanks to Obama.
- Laziness – We are not willing to sacrifice a little enjoyment and suffer a little now, in order to prosper later. A co-worker couldn’t believe that I did not like Barrack Obama. She told me that he gives us hope for the future. She talked about how her dad had to quite school because his parents didn’t think it was important, and he had to suffer to provide for his family. My answer was to call shenanigans. For every example of someone who didn’t have the chances to get ahead, there is the story of someone who took risks and made their own opportunity. Read more…
I still can’t believe people say this Obamanation is not about race. lol. They said that on the news in Virginia yesterday, followed by a quote that Obama is winning the black vote by as much as 97% to 1. That’s pretty clear cut to me. If white people voted like that, McCain probably wins a landslide because the other races vote their beliefs and especially the hispanics who are more conservative because they are hard workers who earn money.
Comments about the rallies. Obama’s rally seemed more like a concert than a rally. McCain’s seemed presidential. Listening to Obama was like going to church in the hood, whereas listening to McCain seemed like you were listening to a president. Especially a nice touch that I got to shake former governor Jim Gilmore’s hand. Read more…
One positive effect from listening to Barack ‘Jerk’ Obama on tv all year has been that he has let me learn what my beliefs are, and I am for the first time, excited about getting involved in politics. I plan on contacting the local Republican headquarters on November 5 to register and begin working/contributing. I’d like to get behind Sarah Palin 4 years ahead of time, just as everyone has with Obama. The difference being, Obama is unqualified and fundamentally wrong, whereas Palin has executive experience as a governor and has the right set of beliefs. Read more…
Well, the verdict is still out, but it looks like Barack Obama is gonna be your president for te next 4 years. Fortunately for me, because of a mistake I made in the past, I can’t vote this time, so it’s your burden when his administration is going against the fundamentals of our society for four years. I do thank the ‘arrogant jerk’ for making me look at myself and discover that I’m a Liberal Republican. Read more…
